Today we’d like to introduce you to Brennan Jackson.
Hi Brennan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My time started when I went to a convention (Dreamcon) in 2021. That feeling of unity couldn’t compare to anything I felt before. After that weekend I learned I wanted to go into content creation. Over the years my need for content creation lost priority turning more into community management. I now collaborate and connect creators with one another through social platforms and social mixers. I’ve been producing my own podcast since 2021 “In the Space of Nate”. Also, assisting others with their content as well such as skits and podcast.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve never known a smooth road in my life sady. It struggles from losing my best friend and home within the same day. Around that time the only thing I could do is just continue to be myself. I lost a piece of me that felt it would never come back. Through that dark time in my life I learned I couldn’t replicate what was gone. I just had to appreciate everything new that was brought to me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I dabble in a bit everything but I’ve been doing more community organizing. Setting up events through different platforms irl and online. I set up networking events and social mixers to help people in different professions meet one another.
