Hi Clara, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
What started as my family craft project evolved into a meaningful God-given passion. I began creating beautiful items matching wonderful colors and with special textures. The end result brought joy to all those around me. This journey has been both fulfilling and inspiring thanks to the unwavering support of my family, our cultura, and our community. Participating in vendor pop-up markets and events has allowed us to connect with remarkable people and each interaction has played a role in shaping our brand and purpose. Building a business takes a village seeking support from local organizations and community resources was one of the best decisions we made, and those connections have been essential to our growth. Never hesitate to ask for help because the strong community can make all the difference.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles along the way have been deciding what is best to display and how to show the beauty that is behind each of the items I have created. There have been some tough financial seasons during this time. It feels overwhelming but financial hardships don’t last forever. The challenges we faced led to unexpected blessings that helped ease the burden and guide us toward better days.

I create beaded pens, as well as beaded keychains along with many other beaded items. The items I create come from an inner source that I was unaware that I had. I personally can’t match two colors. many times I have said this is a God-given gift because the beauty that comes out of my creations can only come from God.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Starting and building a business is never a solo effort. We leaned on local support groups and community resources every step of the way and their impact has been invaluable. Don’t be afraid to seek help because success is built through community. We approach other vendors who have been in this business for years. they give us their advice on what has worked for them or hasn’t worked for them and seek their guidance as we maneuver through this new path in our life.
