Today we’d like to introduce you to Robbyn Miles.
Hi Robbyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When I was age 4 my mother discovered my Artistry gift. She sat down next to me at our living room table and showed me how to be more creative while drawing. And her words to me were “practice makes perfect!” Fasting forward in 5th grade I begin to take art classes and loved it. Every art contests from elementary to high school that I’ve entered winning first place. Throughout the decades I’ve showcased my artwork at art showcase events and art galleries. Hoping to open an art gallery one day. I enjoy sharing my gift with others and seeing their reactions. I will continue to create Artistry as long as I’m able to.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No the road has been very bumpy and rough at times. From work schedules to family crisis and family emergencies.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I create self portraits, abstract art, logos, artwork for clothing, 2D and 3D art. I’m known for my portraits drawings of people. I’m proud of every artwork pieces I’ve created. I have no limitations on creating art, I believe in freedom of expression. I think what sets me apart from others is that I don’t put titles/names to my artwork because to me art is “Freedom of Expression!” I’ve observed many people’s expressions or what they may see within my artwork and decided why put titles to them. Because each expression or what they see is different.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’ve always been open to working with others. I would love to do art projects, art murals and etc.
