Today we’d like to introduce you to Hunter Green.
Hi Hunter, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m a native New Yorker with humble beginnings who wears many hats, but isn’t just a hat rack. I am a professional archer by day and a cabaret/variety theater manager some nights. I also dappling, graphic design of photography and performance art.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing has really come easy to me, but I’m grateful to also have not experienced extreme struggle. I would say the hardest part of my life now is having more patience for people who have less for themselves and that lesson came to me through Archery(literally).
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I manage an archery range by day and a burlesque/variety show venue once a night(I know, I have a rather unique set of skills lol); my partner produces a show that I’ve become a part of where I blend both of my worlds and I eventually would love to develop some sort of sideshow performance that allows me to show off my archery skills more.
How do you define success?
“When you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” has never felt so relevant, given I’ve had both positions for 9-13 years with no intentions of leaving either. I would define success as being able to share things I find joy in with others and seeing them experience their own appreciation through it as well. Having a world to share with others is special to me.
