Thanks for sharing your story with us Dee. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I spent 30 plus years in the upscale steakhouse business. Resigned in 2010 to enjoy my family and pursue other business opportunities. My passion is food and wine and I love the hospitality industry. Although traditional steakhouses will always be popular, there has been an evolution in food and cocktails thru out the country. With that in mind, I set out to get ideas that would differentiate my steakhouse from many others.
Dee Lincoln Prime was launched in 2017. A modern upscale steakhouse with a Sexy Edge. Core Steakhouse fare is found on the menu however the Tequila library, Japanese Whiskey ’s, and Sake has added much attention to the sushi bar located inside the main bar and become a huge attraction. As an owner-operator, I’m proud to say when you walk thru the doors, you are a guest in our home. Sit back relax and enjoy the dinner party.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Overall my journey has been smooth however there are always challenges. With changes in leadership along the way. I faced the good ole boys club from time to time. Being a woman in a male-dominated business can be rough however I was always able to overcome that obstacle. As well I decided to go into a casual segment of the food business for a short period of time. I quickly realized that was not the space I was familiar with nor did I belong. Exited that and went back into the luxury biz.

Dee Lincoln Prime is an upscale Steakhouse. I am the proprietor. We serve core steakhouse classics fresh seafood and sushi. I am very proud to be an independent rather than a chain. My team sets us apart from the competition. Our food is excellent however the hospitality inside our 4 walls is like no other.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I love the balance in my life. Family is most important and For now. I’m concentrated on making Dee Lincoln Prime being recognized as one of the best steakhouses in the country. We’re adding a 100 seat private dining room in August and a Private Membersgio Cigar Lounge in October. When all complete. I will be busy for awhile.
