Meet Erica Jones of Where Body Meets Soul in Irving

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Jones.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Erica. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Attended Anthem College in which she completed her Massage Therapy Certification. Since completing school, worked for chiropractors and completed MMP training. (Medical Massage Practitioner). I launched a massage business after certifications that uses Swedish, trigger point therapy, pre-natal (pregnancy) massage, myo-fascial release, deep tissue,hot stone therapy and hydrotherapy treatments and medical massage to relieve pain for clients. I love helping bring normality back to the lives of hurting clients by improving range of motion and muscle flexibility while decreasing pain. I work from the office as well as out-calls and corporate clients.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I struggled with the fact that I attended school while running a home daycare from 6 am-9:30 pm. It allowed me to learn balance and increase my organizational skills as well as learning to ask for help from others.

Where Body Meets Soul offers you everything from the best relaxation massage to the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. I specialize in clinical massage that helps treat conditions that prevent clients from being their best in mobility daily. I care about my clients and their well being. I listen and give home stretches and recommendations to allow them to make it until their next treatment. I help until the body goes back to helping itself

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is being happy in what you do daily while bringing joy to others lives. Personal growth and the ability to continue learning and growing unselfishly.
