Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Ryan.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Amanda. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The idea of Lucky Life Boot Camp started in 2016 when I was looking to add something more to my life. I have always wanted to own my own business and I have always had a passion for fitness. I wanted to become a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor for some time now, so that’s exactly what I did! I became certified with the National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT) as a PT. I also became certified with Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a Group Fitness Instructor. Shortly after that, Lucky Life Boot Camp was up and running!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I opened Lucky Life Boot Camp with hardly any problems at all. I was fortunate enough to have a lawyer in the family who knew exactly what he was doing and helped me every step of the way. Starting anything new is scary but also exciting, and with the help of my family and friends I was able to accomplish my goal and open up Lucky Life Boot Camp in the spring!
Please tell us about Lucky Life Boot Camp.
Lucky Life Boot Camp was created for all fitness levels; our goal is to help others get in shape at their own pace and to get the results they want! We have a workout schedule that any client can manipulate to fit their own schedule, so no days are every wasted. We offer a package deal where the client can buy days instead of the typical 6 months or 12 months option that you see offered by other boot camps in the area. The best part is, each client has the ability to choose what days they want to use and what workouts they want to show up for. Clients are given a month to use up all their days until they need to purchase another package. So, long term contracts are not a requirement!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
To be honest, I would have started sooner. I was scared to start something all on my own and I also wanted to make sure everything was going to be perfect before I started, so I kept putting it off. But as time went on I realized nothing will ever be perfect and I just opened up my business. And I couldn’t be happier.
