Today we’d like to introduce you to Marla Farrell.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve always loved dancing. That is my passion that moves me. But as I’ve gotten older and am past prime dancing years I still can’t stop. That passion has now turned into fitness. I started on an award-winning HS Drill team in Mesquite called the N Mesquite Pacesetters. Top 10, voted best dancer, best high kicker. Took lessons from Dallas Cowboy’s original choreographer Texie Waterman. Was in a dance troop called Xenon dancers when the club Pappagallo was around. Moved to NC & taught aerobics & children’s dance classes & was also in the Wilmington Civic Ballet. Returned to Dallas & danced for the Dallas Side Kicks. Then back to teaching more aerobic classes at Bally’s & Premiere Athletic Club.
Has it been a smooth road?
Starting my own business was scary. I’ve never done that before. Wasn’t sure if I could get business or how to do it. But I quickly realized it’s just like anything else. If you really want to do something, you’ll figure out how to make it work.

I’m a Personal Trainer. I would say what makes me different is I tailor my client’s programs around what they like to do. My concept is if they enjoy it, they’re more likely to look forward to coming back to see me & ultimately enjoy exercising.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think this is a great place to be! Frisco has a booming influx of residents. People have very busy schedules & having someone like myself is perfect to fit exercising into their schedule.
