Today we’d like to introduce you to Nancy Rogers.
Nancy, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I recently became a photographer. As a mom you are totally obsessed with images of your kids’ right? Well I was hiring the most amazing photographer to photograph my kid. And I thought why not do it myself. Now I’m obsessed with taking pictures. I am still learning, I’m not a professional but I will for sure keep taking pictures.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I take pictures. I am a photographer. What I hope it’s that when I take a picture of someone they love the image. That would mean I did good.
At the moment I’m seriously taking pictures of pretty much anything.
Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
Luckily I have the support of my family and husband. So I guess I’m really lucky for not having financial concerns.
