Conversations with the Inspiring Ele Michele

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ele Michele.

Ele, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
God blessed me with the “gift” and the “curse” of being a “people person”. I’ve always been able to capture the room and produce such a relativity to people that everyone naturally gravitated towards me. Being an avid seeker of knowledge, I soaked up so much of it and shared even more with anyone I came into contact with. Whether it be about my personal experiences, the experiences of those around me or that of something/someone I’d seen or heard of; it filled me with great pride to empower someone with newfound information. Once I assumed an online presence, I then became a “guru” or “go-to gal” for any and everything inspiring me to create my brand name, “The World’s Home Girl”.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The smoothest part of my journey has been producing something that is an extension of myself. I can dig deep inside of myself, pull out whatever, offer it up to the world, and have the world receive it because that’s who I am, that’s what my brand is, and that’s what people expect from me. That’s what I’ve always given them. Of course, I give my all, the good and the bad, but I make sure to add in a disclaimer before hand.

The struggle road meets the smooth road right in the middle in a sense. The smoothest part of my journey is also a struggle because it can be overwhelming offering so much of yourself to so many people. Being the woman that people depends on can turn your passion into an obligation really quick!

My advice to young women following their dreams, goals or passion would be to stand firm on your beliefs, work at accomplishing your goal(s) each and every day, and make sure you are doing what you love, that way it will never seem like a day of work.

what should we know about “The World’s Home Girl”? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am an on-air personality, freelance writer and blogger, and an event hostess, among other things! I specialize in social media marketing, motivational speaking, and apartment locating.

I am most proud of the online presence that I have established. I have a website/blog and 3 social media channels. My YouTube channel is next and then comes a podcast show. Everything has just about been done single handed and totally organically!

What sets me apart from others is the genuine spirit behind my efforts. I wholeheartedly want to inform, influence, and inspire.

Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
My mother has inspired me because she raised us by herself successfully. She always accepted my sister and me for who we were, the paths we took, and the decisions we made.

Other women like Michelle Obama, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Queen Latifah, and many others inspired me for being BRAVE, OUTLANDISH, STRONG, and BOLD. All the while, being very beautiful and very fashionable women!
