Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Martinez.
Michelle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well in 2014 I got invited to participate in local pageant call Miss Latina Dallas. This was my first pageant so I had to go through basically boot camp got trained for talk in front camera, exercise, how to apply makeup, and of course photoshoots. Make my story short I had my first ever photoshoot at 23 with no experience but got told by photographer and director that I’m very photogenic well of course post my pictures on Facebook started getting offers for photoshoot and later to walk on shows. Unfortunately I didn’t win but it open lots doors for me
Has it been a smooth road?
It been struggles because I been wanting to do more shows but I’m 5’2 so I’m short to walk for some designers and photoshoots I’m in between like it been smooth but I’m still not perfect
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m Fashion and print model. I like to make vision come to life I’m known for my smile and also I like to have fun…basically I like to jump and pose while wearing my 3 inch heels.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Well Dallas is a good city but if you want go far I think Los Angeles or New York would be better.
