Today we’d like to introduce you to Frankie Simmons.
Frankie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I first started working with entrepreneurs back in 2014…at that point I was working behind the counter at a local food business, so nowhere near what I do now, but it was the beginning of my story. During my time there, I absolutely fell in love with entrepreneurs. Watching the owners of the shop put so much into creating this dream, hearing about their vision, and feeding off their energy led to me loving their business almost as much as they did, and I just wanted to dive in deeper.
I approached the owners and asked them what they needed help with that they didn’t have time for, and what extra responsibilities I could take on. After a bit of trying out different roles, I eventually ended up running all of their digital marketing. During the time that I was helping out with this, I watched the business begin to achieve national press and open new locations, and being a part of that growth and expansion was so fulfilling.
In 2016, I took a job at a digital marketing agency, taking everything I had learned from my previous job and using it to start building the brands of multiple clients in my position as Accounts Manager. I got to take my passion for entrepreneurship and help even MORE small business owners find creative solutions to grow their dreams via social media. After about a year there, I started to take on freelance clients, and my business was born!
My business was solely doing social media management for a while, but I soon found that there were so many more things I wanted to help entrepreneurs with. The process of starting my own business, as well as my years of experience working closely alongside entrepreneurs across the nation, had shown me that there was so much personal development, soul growth, and mindset work that went into building a successful business. It takes much more than just strategy solutions and content plans, and I wanted to help people not just grow their online influence, but also find joy, authenticity, and ease in the process. So I started to open up spots to work with me on a deeper level to get mindset and business coaching, and now it’s all I offer! It’s the most beautiful thing to see my client’s hearts be nourished at the same time as their businesses.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been both easier and harder than I ever expected. Mostly, the challenges have just been different than what I thought they’d be.
I committed from day one to create a business that could HELP my mental health, not destroy it. After struggling with anxiety and depression for most of my life, I knew there was no way I could take on a business that brought more stress into my life, and because of that, I started arming myself with tools and support from coaches really early on, which has been immeasurably helpful. That commitment to supporting my mental health allowed me to avoid the hustle and burnout that many entrepreneurs experience, so my business growth has definitely had an element of ease and grace that I so cherish.
BUT getting to that place of ease and grace definitely is not a simple process. It takes a lot of dealing with the dysfunctional patterns that all humans pick up as we move through this world. It takes so much commitment to the process (financial commitment, time commitment, emotional commitment). It takes choosing every day to stay in it, and to ignore the advice of people who don’t have your same values, as the entrepreneur world is FULL of blog posts and webinars from people who promise you a quick fix, but don’t have your emotional health as their top priority.
The payoff is so worth it, but it can definitely be a scary thing to take the plunge, to shed all the beliefs that have been holding you down, to push back at your inner demons. And it’s definitely not as linear as we would like it to be. I think it took me a while to realize that I was on a long journey, so I spent a lot of time being frustrated with myself for how long I thought the process was taking.

I like to think that I’m a professional “Believer in Humans”, but on a more tangible level, my business exists to help trailblazing entrepreneurs grow their online empires without sacrificing alignment, authenticity, or joy.
I’ve created a signature blend of internal work and external action that helps business owners grow themselves and their businesses simultaneously. Step one is to assess what’s been holding you back, and to help you shed the fears and anxieties you’ve been carrying with you that are hurting your business. We’ll also work through every piece of your processes, determine what you, as a unique human, need to thrive, and then create a business that looks like YOURS and no one else’s. Then, we’ll figure out how to most impactfully tell your story online, to bring in your ideal clients.
This process helps you grow into becoming the fullest, brightest version of yourself. It makes sure your business is set apart from everyone else in your field. And it makes sure that running your business feels as natural as breathing, because every single part of it is built out of the most authentic pieces of your soul. The process helps your business growth, but it also helps you find the happiness and peace that your life has been missing.
My process is definitely different because it isn’t just about handing you a formula that’s worked for others. It’s about getting to know you intimately, and then creating your formula from scratch. It also focuses just as much on your heart as your sales, because I believe that if your business succeeds while leaving your mental health behind, it’s just not worth it. It’s a far more personal, holistic, heart-led process than many people have ever seen before. It’s off-putting to some, but my ideal clients know that their income is just a tiny piece of what they’re looking for in life, so if I can be a one-stop-shop to up-leveling every piece of their joy and fulfillment, they’re all about it.
What were you like growing up?
As a child I was incredibly inquisitive and totally a romantic. I learned to read really early, and then started devouring every book I could get my hands on. This led to me having a huge vocabulary for my age, which I would use to wax poetic about everything. My family and friends found it really funny. My love of books also led to me spending a lot of time in fantasy worlds, so my imagination was constantly running. Even from that age, I was definitely a little intuitive butterfly who couldn’t quite get herself to stay on earth. Not much has changed in that sense.
