Hi Miah and Chloe, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We met and instantly clicked—two creatives with a shared love for design, storytelling, and meaningful spaces. What started as a conversation between friends quickly turned into something bigger. Within just two weeks, we turned our idea into reality and launched Miah+Chloe Design Co.
From day one, we knew we wanted to build more than just a design business. We wanted to create a company that blends our unique perspectives and reflects our passion for beautiful, intentional living. Every project we take on is a chance to combine creativity with purpose, to design spaces that are not only functional and inspiring, but also deeply personal.
At Miah+Chloe Design Co., we believe great design tells a story—your story. We’re driven by connection, fueled by creativity, and obsessed with the little details that make a space feel like home. Together, we’re living our dream of designing with heart, collaborating with incredible clients, and bringing spaces to life in ways that truly matter.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Has it been a smooth road?
Not exactly, but every challenge has been a part of the growth. Starting Miah+Chloe Design Co. while both working full-time 9-to-5 jobs has definitely tested our time management skills. Balancing our professional careers, personal lives, and launching a new business all at once hasn’t been easy. There have been long nights, early mornings, and weekends packed with project work but it’s all been worth it.
One of the biggest learning curves has been building our client base while navigating the constantly shifting world of social media. It’s an incredible tool for reaching new people and showcasing our work, but it’s also a full-time job in itself. From figuring out how to consistently create engaging content, to staying up to date on trends and algorithms, it’s been a process of trial, error, and continuous learning.
We’ve also had to learn how to wear many hats – from designers to marketers to client managers, all while staying rooted in why we started: to create beautiful, meaningful spaces. The journey hasn’t been without its tough moments, but every challenge has pushed us to grow, get more creative, and stay even more committed to our vision. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for everything ahead.

Miah + Chloe Design Co. is a home styling and organization company dedicated to transforming everyday spaces into functional, beautiful reflections of our clients’ lives. We specialize in modern design with a warm, livable feel, think cozy neutrals, intentional accents, and layouts that truly serve the people living in them.
Our approach is both creative and practical: we don’t just style a space to look good; we ensure it works well for the people who use it. Whether it’s organizing a chaotic entryway or redesigning a living room to highlight a favorite piece of furniture, we blend aesthetics with purpose.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes us happy?
On a personal level, we find happiness in the little things, quiet moments with our cats, a good cup of coffee, and a spontaneous trip to HomeGoods. We both love being creative, expressing ourselves through design, and yes… we’re big fans of a good shopping day! Whether it’s sourcing a perfect décor piece or discovering something unique for a client, shopping is more than a hobby it’s part of the creative process we love.
In our business, happiness comes from helping people feel more at peace and inspired in their homes. We thrive on connection, talking with clients, learning their stories, and turning that into something tangible through thoughtful design and organization. There’s something deeply fulfilling about walking into a cluttered or unfinished space and walking out knowing we brought both beauty and function to someone’s everyday life.
We’re happiest when we’re creating, collaborating, and making someone else’s world feel a little more like home.
