Conversations with the Inspiring La’ Shae Alexander

Today we’d like to introduce you to La’ Shae Alexander.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a young woman with an entrepreneurial spirit, I’ve always found joy in doing what I Love. I enjoy living life to the fullest and being a woman of many trades has been quite the experience.

I started off in this social media world in 2010, mostly using FB and Twitter and I never thought in my years of studying that my education and passion would lead me into a world of Social Media. Using LinkedIn and Instagram as my platform, I plan to take the success I’ve built and share with the world ways in which you can embrace your work towards your Goals while enjoying life.

We often times think there is a time with success, but I look back at my journey and I see even the smallest of moments that I can be proud of. With that being said, I have so much to share with my audience from, ways to motivate yourself, manifest your dreams in ways you can save money and plan affordable and fun trips.

Has it been a smooth road?
My road has not been easy. I’ve been successful in my own right but it didn’t come without its challenges.
I would say as of now my toughest challenge is juggling motherhood with my career goals. What I do to overcome those moments of ‘Can I really do this?” is remind myself that I have a purpose and if I can change just one life that’s enough for me. Luckily I was gifted with my daughter and she is who I will impact the most.

For young women who aren’t mothers but still have those struggles or are just starting out on their journey, I would remind them to focus on their impact. We all have a purpose and your purpose may very well impact the lives of hundreds, thousands, and even millions.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into your business story. Tell us more about the business.
As a Jane of many trades, I am working on a few projects. I am currently a Relocation Specialist and hoping in the long run to have my own Real Estate Agency. I am also a Brand Ambassador for IVY Social University but what I am most passionate about is writing. I Love being able to use words to tell a story, and the one I know best is my own and as I continue on my journey I look forward to sharing my story with the world.

Being able to share my Journey and show the world what it’s like to live life in the present moment, and enjoy every experience that comes our way.

Through my writings and what I share on my social platforms, I hope one day to be an inspiration to women who work hard, believe in themselves and are actively working on being the change they want to see.

Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
From my experience, finding a mentor starts with the idea of wanting/needing one. Before things become a reality they start as an idea in the mind. From there, I would say no more than look for a mentor, build your network because you can learn from everyone and the best thing about a network is by the time you’ve started to build your network you have an entire group of people to connect to and learn from, and with a good network comes a good mentor.
