Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Jones.
Hi Brittany, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Dallas in 2015 completely on my own, not knowing a single person, just following a gut feeling that I was meant for something more. A few months after settling in, I entered a relationship that lasted almost eight years. And while it looked stable from the outside, I was slowly losing myself. Mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, I was drained. I was showing up for everyone else but had nothing left for me.
At the time, I was working a corporate job for about seven years, making great money, doing what I thought I was supposed to do. I also spent nearly five years as a part-time group fitness instructor, which lit a fire in me every time I taught a class. That was where I felt the most alive, but it didn’t pay the bills. So I stayed stuck in what felt “secure,” even though I knew I was meant for more.
The real shift happened when I joined the CaseyTrain Community and hired a coach; Lesly Barnette. That decision sparked the beginning of the hardest, most rewarding journey’s of my life: learning to love myself again. Through coaching, I learned how to be selfish in the best way. I healed. I grew. I gained clarity. And in just about a year, I made the hardest, and most freeing, decisions of my life: I left the relationship. I walked away from the job that no longer fulfilled me. I got my own place. I started completely over.
It was in that new chapter, when I had finally started choosing me, that I had a conversation with Lesly and Casey Barnette, and Pretty Britty Fitness was born. With the help of Love&MGMT, I built a brand rooted in my story. A brand built on truth, healing, and purpose. Pretty Britty Fitness started with my own transformation, and it’s grown into something so much bigger, a movement of people learning how to love themselves from the inside out. This isn’t just about macros and workouts. It’s about becoming. It’s about building a life you’re proud of one day at a time.
That phrase, one day at a time, is the heartbeat of everything I do. Because the truth is, lasting change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s in the small, consistent decisions. It’s in the discipline, the grace, the setbacks, the comebacks. That’s how I rebuilt my life, and that’s how I coach others to do the same.
Around that same time, I started to get involved with Eminent Nutrition, and I quickly realized it wasn’t just another supplement company. I started taking their products and immediately felt the difference. But more than that, I felt the community. Eminent became family. I started as an athlete, and today, I’m the Athlete Manager, pouring back into the same community that poured into me. From bodybuilding shows to behind-the-scenes moments and unforgettable connections, this brand has opened doors I never thought I’d walk through.
And speaking of things I never expected, when I finally found love within myself, love found me. In the most unexpected, beautiful way. I recently got married, and it’s been the most joyful new chapter I could’ve ever imagined. After living in Dallas for 10 years, where I grew, healed, and became the woman I am today, I recently moved to Midland-Odessa, Texas, to support my husband’s career. And now, I’m excited to expand my purpose and impact in a new place, with a fresh perspective, and even more heart behind what I do.
If there’s one thing I hope people take away from my journey, it’s this: no matter where you’re starting, no matter how lost or stuck you might feel, you are always one day at a time away from changing your life. And when you start choosing you, consistently, that’s when the real transformation begins.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting over isn’t pretty.
People love to talk about the glow-up, the transformation, the “after” but not many want to sit with the reality of what it really takes to get there. Starting anything from scratch means you’re going to face resistance. You’re going to question everything. And you’re definitely going to hit moments where quitting feels easier than continuing. I know that, because I lived it, more than once.
When I began rebuilding my life, I didn’t just walk away from comfort, I walked away from everything that felt familiar. I left a long-term relationship, a steady job, and the version of myself that I had outgrown. It wasn’t just one hard decision, it was a thousand little choices every single day to not give up on the vision I had for my life.
And believe me, I had every reason to throw in the towel. Financial setbacks. Doubt. Loneliness. The weight of starting completely over while trying to build something meaningful from the ground up. There were nights I cried. Days I questioned why I was doing this. People who didn’t believe in me. And honestly, it would’ve been easy to go back to what was safe.
But I didn’t.
Because something in me knew this was bigger than me. That what I was building—Pretty Britty Fitness—wasn’t just about workouts or weight loss. It was about life. It was about learning to keep going when it’s hard. About helping people realize they’re allowed to start over as many times as they need to.
And truthfully, with the help of Lesly Barnette, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. What started as a small investment in an eight-week program turned into a five-year relationship that’s grown from coach, to friend, to business partner. She believed in me long before I believed in myself. And to this day, her presence in my life has been a game-changer. You never know where your hardest seasons or biggest challenges will lead you and sometimes, they lead you straight to purpose, people, and opportunities you never saw coming.
I didn’t have all the answers. I just had this quiet fire inside me that refused to quit. I believed in what I was building, even when it felt like no one else could see the vision. I kept going because I needed to prove to myself that I could. And now, I get to help others do the same.
Whatever you’re working toward, expect obstacles. Expect to be tested. But never forget that growth comes in the struggle. And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply keep going.
Because the truth is: it’s not about how many times you fall. It’s about how many times you refuse to stay down.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
When people ask what I do, the short answer is: I help people transform.
But the truth is, it goes way deeper than that.
I specialize in helping individuals rebuild their relationship with themselves through structure, accountability, and a deeper level of self-love. I coach women and men through fat loss phases, building phases, and lifestyle changes, but what I’m known for is my ability to help people shift their mindset. Because fitness isn’t just physical, it’s emotional. It’s mental. It’s internal.
My clients don’t just get meal plans and workouts. They get real conversations. They get daily support. They get someone who actually gives a damn about who they’re becoming, not just what they weigh.
I’m most proud of the fact that Pretty Britty Fitness isn’t a quick fix. It’s a movement. It’s a space where people are reminded of their worth while they’re doing the work. I’ve helped hundreds of people feel confident in their own skin again and not because of a number on the scale, but because they finally started showing up for themselves consistently.
What sets me apart? I’ve lived the journey. I know what it feels like to start over. I know what it’s like to feel lost, unmotivated, and unsure of where to even begin. I myself have had a Day 1. And I also know what it takes to pull yourself out of that space and build something better. I’m not just a coach, I’m someone who’s been there, and I carry that level of empathy, understanding, and direct guidance into every client relationship I have.
So if you’re looking for someone to hand you a generic plan, I’m not your coach.
But if you’re ready to stop starting over, to build a lifestyle that actually lasts, to be held accountable, challenged, supported, and seen, then you’re in the right place.
Because around here, we do it one day at a time and that’s how real change happens!!!
