Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Rogers Campbell.
Hi Chloe, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My name is Chloe Rogers-Campbell, and I am the Black business owner of Free Vibe Entertainment out of Dallas, Tx.
Free Vibe is a collective of Music, Creative Directed Photoshoots, and an Apparel line…
All in all, it is an embodiment of the things that I love and who I am. God has made Free Vibe so much more than a business by causing it to be an internal journey towards my purpose. My purpose is to set others free. By living in my own truth, favor, and the gifts God has given me, I hope to inspire others to do the same in whatever he calls them to. I’ve learned that there aren’t any limits to his power and he can work through all of the amazing gifts his given you in unexpected ways.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been much like a rollercoaster, extreme ups, and devastating lows. God has remained the same through it all nevertheless. Hope is the biggest lesson I have learned, and it is what has carried me.
The second lesson I have learned is patience. After my album, Twenty Four released in August of 2021, I was excited to move things forward and keep working on my dreams.
God had other plans and told me to quit everything; music, my business, my relationship, and harmful habits. This took me on an unexpected seven-month journey of finding God and self-discovery. In the Bible Jesus even says lose yourself and you’ll find me and yourself. This was ultimately true for me. I am still learning of course, but I am excited that through that treacherous journey God is now allowing me to dive back into my dreams just with a different approach. An approach that has favor to win instead of hustling to win. An approach that leans on him and not my own understanding.
I am so excited to be shooting my Shortfilm/music video for my song “Memories “this month. You can find all of this on freevibeent.com
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Free Vibe Entertainment is a collective of Music, Creative Directed Photoshoots, and an Apparel line.
Free Vibe has been blessed to have two albums written and recorded that are streaming on all platforms!
-Tales of a Sad Girl (2019)
-Twenty Four (2021)
The apparel line has had two drops
“The sweat line” & “The FreeMix Line”. Both lines were blessed to appear in the Black Girl Magic Museum that was located in Dallas for about 6 months where it sold out.
Lastly, we are most proud of the Music video “Fantasy “, The At Home Live session performance and the album Twenty Four that all dropped in 2021.
God blessed Free Vibe with so much in 2021, and we’re more than excited for 2022!
All things can be found on freevibeent.com
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking?
I have learned that risk-taking comes in unexpected forms. I always saw it as movement, but I have learned that it can also be a risk to sit still.
Sitting still has always been seen as a negative for me, but God has blessed me to see the benefit and strength from taking this particular risk.
As mentioned before, God had me take a 7-month seat to just relearn everything including him which has made me come back 10x harder. More importantly wiser and open to learning more.
