Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Williams.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am 25 years old and from Dallas, Texas. My journey with becoming an Entrepreneur started in the living room of my two-bedroom townhouse. Getting people to come into a home-based spa without any actual training had me determined to get into an Esthetics program which led me to Ogle. I graduated the program and went in full throttle! I got a space in Ownhership LLC Suites and began to build my clientele and brand. I specialize in Brazilian Waxing, Teeth Gems and Whitening. Glow On Waxed Off is not exactly where I want it to be but I’m learning more everyday on how to get my business to where I want it to be.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road by far. I have a five years old son and jobs usually have a zero tolerance for missing work to assist in keeping their dream and business running while putting our dreams and needs on the back burner. I quickly realized that I needed time, money to be committed and did I say money?! I had to learn that family and friends don’t always support like you feel they should but I did meet people who had the same goals and visions who kept me going. I still struggle with finding work, life balance but it’s a work in progress.

Glow On Waxed Off is solely ran and owned by Toni D. Williams. I offer Full Body Waxing Services, Tooth Gems and Teeth Whitening. I take pride in my welcoming spirit, knowledge about my profession and being a public figure in general. When people think of anything Esthetics, I want them to think about Glow On Waxed Off and the experience they get when they book a service with me. I also host a talk show “Coochie Talk” on my Facebook live at 12pm every Sunday, giving tips and answering questions about different services or hot topics in general.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I learned is the Consistency is Key! Even when I felt as though I wasn’t getting as many likes or shares or even appointments that I felt as though I deserved to keep pushing. I also learned to remember the ones who supported and the ones who did not when your time comes.
