Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Garwood

Hi Brooke, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been drawn to the combination of creativity and technology. As a kid, I loved computer class just as much as I loved art, which gave me an early sense of how much I enjoy creating and problem-solving. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I also developed an innate desire to help people succeed while also building something from the ground up. That combination of creativity, technology, and a drive to help others shaped my career.

Now, I focus on equipping female service providers to scale their businesses through artistic and strategic web and brand design. I love helping women share their stories in a way that feels authentic and impactful. Whether it’s building a website, creating a brand, or tackling a unique challenge, I’m all about finding creative, practical solutions that help women grow their businesses.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a particularly bumpy road, but I’m still grateful for the challenges I’ve faced along the way. Learning how to wear multiple hats as a business owner was a big adjustment—balancing creativity with managing clients, running a business, and staying organized. Imposter syndrome has been a recurring challenge, especially early on, when I’d question whether I was “good enough” to take on certain projects.

Building a client base took time and patience, especially in the beginning when I was trying to establish myself in a competitive industry. I’ve had to learn to set boundaries with clients and projects to avoid burnout and protect my time for creativity. Each of these challenges helped me grow personally and professionally, teaching me resilience, better processes, and how to deliver even greater value to my clients. I truly believe I get to work with the best individuals!

We’ve been impressed with Brooke Garwood Media, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I own a boutique design agency specializing in web and brand design, with a focus on helping female service providers level up their digital presence. I also offer photography to bring their stories to life.

I’m more than a designer—I’m a problem-solving partner and visual consultant. I take time to understand each client’s vision (or help them define one) and turn it into a digital experience that’s both beautiful and functional.

I’m proud of the personal, collaborative process I’ve built. My goal is for my clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered to be able to manage their websites without the feelings of not knowing where to start. That trust is reflected in the results we achieve together.
