Inspiring Conversations with Brittany Rodriguez of B.Beautifully Organized

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Rodriguez

Brittany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

Growing up, I loved organizing and transforming my room and my friends’ rooms, but I wasn’t always the tidiest. I didn’t fully grasp the idea that things needed systems and maintenance to stay neat. When I became a mom, especially after having my fourth child, I realized our home needed a serious transformation. With six of us living in one house, clutter seemed to be everywhere. It felt overwhelming. I just couldn’t take it anymore and I decided to downsize our possessions by 50%, and it was completely life-changing. It gave me the mental space to think clearly, it transformed my motherhood experience, and improved all of our well-being. I firmly believe all moms need organization and simplistic spaces to be able to spin all the plates we need to spin.

I spent the next few years homeschooling our kids and working very part-time with my husband and his business. Our youngest (our fifth child) was nearing preschool age and I was ready to start something of my own outside of motherhood. Then, my brother-in-law passed away suddenly, leaving behind his wife and three young children. I knew that cooking meals for them wasn’t the answer (No one wants that from me , ha-ha), but I could help by organizing his belongings, sorting their home, and helping set up her new life as a widow and single mother. After helping her, I wondered if this was something that others might want help with. I posted a few pictures of pantries I’d organized for friends on a local mom’s Facebook page, and the response was incredible. I didn’t know then, but B. Beautifully Organized was born. Fast forward just over 3 years later, we have a team of 10 organizers and an executive assistant. My husband has joined the team as our lead installer and tech support, and we help busy families all over DFW regain their peace and joy through strategic organization and decluttering.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Organizing has always come naturally to me, but the business side has been a growth experience. Learning how to manage products, find the right storage solutions, and handle inventory was definitely a struggle in the beginning, but we now have a well-ironed system that helps us manage all of that well. Leading a team was also new to me, but I was used to balancing five kids so leading an amazing group of women has been a fairly easy adjustment! Balancing the role of CEO and Mom was something I’ve never done before, so that’s been a unique challenge as well.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about B.Beautifully Organized?
Our business helps busy families find peace and clarity in their homes through organization and decluttering. We offer organization, product sourcing, packing, unpacking services, and interior styling.
What sets our business apart is that we’re a company created by busy moms for busy moms. We understand the challenges of juggling kids, work, and everything in between because we’re living it firsthand ourselves. We know exactly what families need to make life a little easier.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck, but we really felt like the Lord was leading us to do this business. We received confirmation over and over again, so we went all in, and he has blessed us tremendously. It was definitely not luck, but the favor and blessings of God mixed in with lots of hard work.
