Today we’d like to introduce you to Curley Kelly.
Curley Kelly, founder and CEO of CK2 Supreme Sports Recruiting, is making a big impact these days with the college recruitment process for young athletes. He is a former educator and high school coach of ten years. He has coached two High School All Americans, several All-District and All-State football players. Coach Kelly attended Grambling State University and played football for legendary Head Coach Eddie Robinson. He was a member of the 1989 undefeated SWAC champions.
With his passion, knowledge, and love for the game of football, he has now transitioned into helping young student-athletes continue their dream of playing football at the collegiate level as scholarship student-athletes. CK2 Supreme Sports Recruiting has implemented personalized recruiting and marketing strategies that provide the families with information, guidance, exposure, and access to college coaches. With a keen eye for evaluating talent, he began assisting student-athletes with the recruiting process in 2012. Maintaining his reputation as a reliable Sports Recruiter means making sure student-athletes and their families have complete confidence in the services and knowledge of the industry.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Currently, the obstacles that the business has faced is with NCAA rules & regulation changes due to COVID-19. Colleges and universities have not been allowed to see student-athletes perform in person due to NCAA’s restrictions (dead-period). These safety precautions and changes have made it harder for student-athletes to get in front of college coaches for an evaluation. CK2 Supreme Sports Recruiting has been working non-stop to showcase student-athletes and put them in front of the decision-makers. Locally, CK2 Supreme Sports Recruiting has helped more than 40 class of 2021 student-athletes obtain scholarships to play at a college or university during the pandemic.

I really enjoy working with people and tackling all the problems and challenges that come my way on a day-to-day basis. With a focus on personalized service, competitive rates and customer satisfaction, I am always working to exceed families high standards and expectations. What sets CK2 Supreme Sports Recruiting apart from other recruiting services is our passion and love for the student-athletes. When parents come to me, they are like family and I provide them personalized service and exposure as if their child were my own. I handled the recruitment process for my son Kameron Kelly (San Diego State University) and I promote CK2 Supreme Sports student-athletes as if they were my son. Once student-athletes move on to next level I remain in contact with these athletes and I provide mentorship for them while they are in college and beyond if they need additional guidance.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has not played a role in my life or business. God has been there every step of my life and journey. I believe in divine intervention. Without God’s grace, mercy, and him constantly guiding my steps, I would not be where I am today. I have faced ups and downs as a man, father, athlete, coach and entrepreneur but if it were not for him, I would not be here right now to tell my story. My story helps me mentor these student-athletes and promote their academic and athletic talents daily.
