Today we’d like to introduce you to J.E.T. Setting Divas. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The story began when 3 friends Jeanette, Evette, and Tina, started traveling in 2018. After a few trips to Mexico, then to Bali, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, China this trio was asked “how do you travel so often to these wonderful places?” The answer was, we really enjoyed traveling with each other and we work so well together like a team to find our airfare, hotels/accommodations, and excursion for these trips. The story began when we realized that our names was the acronym for “JET” since we loved traveling together, we began calling ourselves the J.E.T. Setting Divas. Our love for traveling together lead us to podcasting in 2020. Today we have evolved to social media influencers, traveling to support community efforts and Podcasting weekly on SheLettaMakesMeLaugh.com multi-media platform.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No challenges really when travel is a lifestyle. The rewards of a travel business include the thrill and excitement of not actually working. Some travel obstacles were faced during the pandemic, but as a travel team many activities were done with caution and careful planning. Once the stay-at-home order was lifted, traveling for the J.E.T Setting Divas had very little impact. Traveling is more about the experience, the people, and during something new.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
J.E.T. Setting Divas is not just a group of ladies traveling abroad. The J.E.T. Setting Divas Podcast is informative, funny, and real. JET enjoys giving back to the community through service and fulfilling a communities need. JET also travel throughout Texas, especially the DFW area, highlighting venues, hotels, restaurants, events, and concerts to show the exciting thing our city has to offer. J.E.T. Setting Divas feel traveling is a lifestyle.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
J.E.T. Setting Divas is a group of mature traveling friends, sisters, mothers, wives, daughters, and companions showing others how to live life to the fullest. Life is too short, have some fun and travel.
