Life & Work with Nasya XO

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nasya XO.

Hi Nasya, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, where I grew up dancing, singing in church, performing in theater, and participating in choir. After moving to Texas, I was introduced to recording music for the first time, and it inspired me to take my artistry to the next level. Today, I’m an independent artist who writes, records, engineers, and releases my own music while also pursuing modeling and content creation. I’d like to build more skill in photography and graphic design too.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. For most of my journey, I’ve had to wear every hat and building my brand independently. While I’ve been fortunate to have support from friends and family along the way, not having a consistent team has made it more challenging to move at the pace I envision. Those experiences have taught me resilience, patience, and how to create opportunities instead of waiting for them.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a singer, songwriter, recording engineer, producer, model, and content creator. I specialize in creating music from start to finish…writing, recording, engineering, and releasing my own work independently. What I’m most proud of is building my career on my own terms and continuing to grow as a creative in multiple industries. I think what sets me apart is my versatility. Whether I’m making music, creating content, or modeling, I bring the same level of creativity, authenticity, and attention to detail. I’m always looking for ways to evolve while staying true to who I am.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I don’t have a mentor yet but networking has been one of the biggest ways I’ve grown. Attending events, building genuine relationships, and connecting with my community through social media has opened the most doors for me. My advice is to be authentic, stay consistent, and don’t be afraid to introduce yourself, you never know where one conversation can lead.
