Thanks for sharing your story with us Bade. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started selling on Poshmark, I would go to local thrift stores in my area and buy clothing for a cheap price and resell them on Poshmark. I did that for three years before I decided this is something I can do on my own, so I took my earnings I made on Poshmark and started my online boutique after finding great wholesale vendors. That way I can cut out poshmark making money off me with all the fees they charge.
I decided I would name my boutiques after my two lovely daughters so I used both their middle names Some’ the youngest and Renee’ the oldest. I still have a full-time job and run my online boutique. My boutique has been on FOX 4 news for a pop up shop I did last year. I enjoy doing pop up shops around the DFW area, fun way to meet new people and gain new clients.
Has it been a smooth road?
Running an online boutique has not been easy, it takes a lot of marketing and being consistent. You have to gain trust from people who don’t know you and that is where it gets hard. My struggle is getting the traffic to my website. This is something I work on everyday.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, I feel the DFW area is great for businesses like mine because everyone is different and have different style ideas. I really don’t have an answer for how can the city improve because I feel online boutiques are winning.
