Meet Brandon Hunt of Livintage Apparel & Styled by B.Hunt in Arlington

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Hunt.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Brandon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I began my fashion career in modeling. I was chosen to model for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats for a Reebok campaign, traveled to New York to do fashion shows and did many local shows. After modeling for other brands, I had an interest in doing my own fashion shows. This is when I began to style other designer’s shows and design clothing for specific clients.

With a love for fashion, I decided to create my own brand to stand out in the fashion industry. In 2015, I launched Livintage Apparel, an online shop selling vintage and custom pieces. My love for fashion skyrocketed as I dove deeper into styling. In 2016, my brand was featured in Phoenix Fashion Week where I styled and designed a complete fashion show and won first place as best stylist in Arizona. This opportunity catapulted my career to the next level as I began to build my styling clientele and do celebrity styling. I worked behind the scenes on tour with Danileigh, r&b artist, Lance Gross, actor, and many other tv stars. I currently travel doing pop up shops and fashion shows worldwide. I’m best known for my elaborate fashion shows and photoshoots. In 2019, I opened my first retail store in Phoenix, Arizona. My styles also appeared on the red carpet for the Country Music Awards 2019. Currently, I reside in Dallas, TX and I’m focusing on my wardrobe styling clientele and opening a physical store locally. My items can be shopped online or locally at pop up shops. I am also always looking for great new people to work with as a personal wardrobe stylist.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. The fashion industry is very hard to get into and be successful in. In regards to my store, I worked really hard and diligently for years to build my audience and create a culture around my brand. I personally struggled at first with how to market myself as a credible stylist and business owner. I had to prove myself to the industry by creating great content for consumers to see my work. In the process I was able to meet many great people in the industry and make a name for myself. If I can give any advice to anyone beginning this journey, I’d say don’t give up on yourself. Stay consistent and it’ll eventually all fall into place.
