Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Adams.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Brittany. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
BNAARTS started on September 24, 2018, when I discovered my hidden talent painting. I was sitting at home having paint and sip with my family, and to my surprise, I really enjoyed it, and my picture came out better than I expected. From that day forward, I knew that I was sticking to painting. Today, I can say I see a huge improvement in my art. I got where I am today by checking out art technique books from the library, not being afraid to ask for feedback from other artists, and practice, practice, PRACTICE whether it’s a 2 min doodle or 20 mins sketch. I will get far by staying true to myself as an artist, and keeping a positive mindset. I can’t wait to see where art will take me.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have had days when I wanted to stop painting simply because I felt like my art wasn’t good enough. But I had to think to myself look you have only been painting for a few months you’re doing good. Stop comparing yourself to those who have years of experience painting. But I know with hard work, prayer, and dedication I will be a successful artist.
We’d love to hear more about your craft.
I specialize in acrylic hand painted artwork. I am known for being inspired by music, positive life quotes, and anything that comes to mind. I am proud that I am able to uplift people’s spirits when they take a look at my work by using bright colors and having a positive meaning behind the art. I will not create a sad or, depressing dark piece because, when someone hangs my art in their home or, office I want it to bring life into the room. What sets me apart from all other artist is that I see the beauty in anyone’s art. There is no wrong or right way to art.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a well-behaved kid I was very shy, and quiet. I was never really involved in activities because, I was socially awkward, and didn’t want to interact with other kids unless they walked up to me first. I am and was a very sweet girl, I just always minded my business.
