Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Tequila with Friends started as a blog in 2018. Fast forward to today, Tequila with Friends is a multi-award winning tequila brand that is growing very popular amongst groups of people who enjoy creating good times with great friends. Starting with our first retail store in November of 2020, nearly a year later Tequila with Friends is now available in over 40 locations in the State of Texas. In the coming weeks, the team will be launching an online marketplace making TWF available for shipping in all 50 States.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
With our team being new to the spirits industry, every day brings about new learning experiences. Our biggest challenge over this last year was getting store owners to believe in our brand. They are pitched new brands every day so we had to build their confidence in TWF, our ability to generate traffic to their stores and our ability to produce repeat customers for TWF. As of today, we have several locations throughout Texas that are doing extremely well with the sales of our product. Our goal now is to land in the larger chain stores. In order to do this, we need our friends(new and old) to continue requesting TWF at your favorite stores.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The tequila industry is booming and we do not see it slowing down anytime soon. We will continue focusing on becoming Texas’ Favorite Tequila.
Over the next 5-10 year, our goal is to become a household spirit brand domestically and internationally for those who enjoy sharing premium libations with friends.
