Today we’d like to introduce you to Deondra Swanigan.
Hi Deondra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As a visual artist and a graphic designer, I think of the entire state of Arkansas as home. From an early age, I knew I would be involved in the world of art. Throughout my public school years, I designed, painted, and drew in my free time, and enrolled in all the art classes offered at school. In 2016, while attending Arkansas Tech University as an art major, I won first place in the 10th Annual Tech Juried Student Competitive Exhibition and many more.
As one who comes from many backgrounds, including that of an Army Reserves veteran, I use my art to inform, identify, and influence my viewers. My firm, Swan Done LLC, has provided me the opportunity to impact people from small to mid-level businesses in Arkansas, Texas, Georgia, and mankind in general for the last 7 years. I plan to continue using my God-given talents to create work that reaches people from all walks of life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has definitely been ruff but smooth in its unique way. God has placed me in all the right places at the right time. “Struggles” and all are all a part of the walk with God. Without the struggles, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of Swan Done. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I help 9 to 5 entrepreneurs create an experience that speaks to their target audience using credible marketing tactics without wasting hours on paid advertisement.
I am a brand and web designer who grew up wanting to be all the things. What if I could be a part of ” all the things” by helping entrepreneurs create experiences that speak to their target audience. I have worked with photographers, podcasters, and preachers. I am most proud of being able to go deeper than the logo to help my clients strategically make a powerful impact for community growth.
I offer Brand and Web services. When someone receives my brand and or web services, they get access to other services including social media kit, cover art, t-shirt design, digital paintings, business cards, and other graphic collateral one may need for a business.
