Meet Elvin Rosa of The Firehouse

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elvin Rosa.

Elvin, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
A Dallas native who was raised on the theory that you get what you work for. I was taught from a young age to always treat others with respect no matter what their circumstances may be. I believe this mindset and the ability to be patient and tolerant with others but always be strict with myself and my work ethic has helped me tremendously in building healthy relationships, in business and in everyday life.

Has it been a smooth road?
There has been and always will be adversity. If something is easy to obtain, then I firmly believe it is not worth having. There have been multiple struggles on my journey, but I am grateful for all of them. The struggles and adversity I have faced and overcame have made me the businessman, collegiate athlete, student, and actor-model I am today. I see adversity as an opportunity to grow and to learn more about myself, will I rise to the occasion or back down? Adversity reveals people’s true character and exposes the mentally weak.

The Firehouse – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business is The Firehouse. We provide the opportunity for our customers to buy limited clothing, sneakers, and accessories. We have many strong-suits but we specialize in custom sneakers. We have provided products for many influential people including Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys players. The thing I am most proud of is the genuine relationships we have made along the journey and the overall morale of our company.

What sets us apart from other companies in our field is our ability to meet the customer’s specific needs. The way we can provide a high-quality custom 1 of 1 product. Aside from our custom sneakers option we have also made custom neon light signs, I believe our ability to provide our customer with the perfect product that suits them is what separates us from the rest.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We expect to see our customer base and following to grow exponentially over the next 5-10 years. We feel like both of those come with time, exposure and proper marketing. We are always trying to stay ahead of the wave, provide our customers with the latest, most exclusive gear and what we are looking forward to the most is making more business relationships. Hopefully, in the near future, we would like to have a storefront somewhere in the Dallas area.
