Today we’d like to introduce you to Franklin Estrada II
Hi Franklin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and grew up in El Paso and Carrollton, Texas. I have been an athlete my entire life and was blessed with the opportunity to continue playing football at my dream university, TCU.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a very difficult journey to get to where I am, but I am extremely thankful for everyone in my life that has helped me get to this point. Some of the more prominent struggles would have to be injuries and other setbacks off the field.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a current student-athlete at Texas Christian University. I play running back for the Horned Frogs football team and am working towards graduating with an MBA from the Neeley School of Business.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I believe success is measured by the goals we set and achieve, and the wisdom gained from the process of working to achieve these goals.
