Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Wolff.
Gabrielle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my career in real estate as a newly single mother with a two-year-old and a newborn. I earned my real estate license while I was pregnant, and in the midst of a turbulent domestic separation. I had been a stay at home mom since our oldest was born, and was driven back into the workforce, and had no choice but to become successful, so that my children would have economic and emotional stability. As the sole provider for my children, I made it my mission to ensure that they would have all the necessities that children from two-parent homes had, and at the same time, provide my clients with exceptional service.
Real estate quickly became a passion for me; my obsession was to provide the very best customer service available in today’s real estate marketplace.. I pride myself on now being one of the top agents in DFW, which has enabled me to continue to provide an unmatched level of care and expertise to my Clients. I love sharing the special moments with my clients, whether we’re celebrating the sale of their present home, or making dreams come true in the purchase of a new one. I take a great deal of pride in my role as a facilitator of the new chapters in people’s lives, and helping them to realize their goals and their dreams.
Has it been a smooth road?
Being a single parent is never easy, nor is starting a new career, especially in real estate. So there have been a lot of challenges along the way. With the background that I had, I didn’t personally know anyone who was interested in buying or selling a home. Daycare was not something that was possible for me at first, and re-entering the workforce also had its challenges. Buying and selling a home is one of the most important events in people’s lives, and they are much less likely to work with someone who is brand new in the business. All the business I did at first was business I had to earn from people I had no prior relationship with. So it made my job a much more challenging than other Agents, who had large networks of people that both liked and trusted them. Then of course there is the challenge of work-life balance, as a single parent with two very healthy and active young boys.

There is a lot of competition and you have to really work to succeed, as in all businesses, but the opportunities are endless.
