Hi Monisha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I’ve always had a passion with anything pertaining to beauty products and hair. I stayed doing hair, makeup, and nails of my own. Couple of years after the passing of my oldest son, he was one years old at the time, I just decided to just jump right into starting my dream business, Slay Moe LLC. I hand-make press on nails & toenails, I sell Siberian Mink lashes, handmade lip gloss, and other beauty products. I also sell digital products on how to monetize your social media accounts and marketing your brand. I’m also an upcoming social media influencer, I love modeling and entertaining people by being funny and dancing.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a tough road and I still go through ups and downs but to be honest I wouldn’t change it. It’s helping me prepare for the future. I’m learning to be more consistent and have more faith in what I do, like step out my comfort zone and just give it 1000%. I tend to want to give up, at times sink back into depression but then I have to remind myself that I’m doing this for my son and the rest of my children.

I’m mostly known for handmade lipglosses and press on nails, but not just any press on nails..I make press on nails kits that comes with everything needed for a full set and full pedi set along with other Slay goodies. I love making people things to make them feel and look good, especially at an affordable price. I will also be doing mobile services real soon. Slay Moe is not just another brand, it’s a lifestyle!
