Today we’d like to introduce you to Romullo Lima-Stanley, Daniel Stanley.
Romullo Lima-Stanley is Brazilian-born interior designer based in Dallas. With a background in Economics and Business Administration for more than a decade, Romullo Lima-Stanley has a vast experience in Project Management and Operations from the corporate world.
When a move to Dallas in 2016 to marry his best friend and business partner Daniel Stanley, Romullo went back to school and received his Interior Design Certification from the New York Institute of Art and Design. Romullo further developed his vision and skills by working with residential and commercial design firms on a variety of residential, commercial and hospitality projects as a lead designer at West Elm.
As a designer, Rome (as he is known) is involved in all aspects of each design project from concept development and space planning to project oversight and selection of furniture and finishes. His attention to detail and unique design perspective result in modern designs that inspire and captivate.
Daniel Stanley is native to Texas being born and raised in Fort Worth but calling Dallas home for the last eight years. Daniel obtained 13 years experienced in the Property Management industry. While in Property Management, Daniel was manicured to place Customer Service above all else and hone in on mastering Sales and Marketing for Multi-Family properties throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Currently, Daniel continues to pursue his real estate business; in addition, he is Director of Sales and Marketing for Lima-Stanley Design. Starting Spring of 2019, Daniel will be attending the New York Institute of Art and Design to obtain his Certification in Landscape Design to better further the company and is projected to be completed by 2021.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
At the beginning as an entrepreneur, building a company from the ground-up is always a challenge. We have been enjoying the ride in a great way and also have been trying to understand the quick changes that happen daily within our industry. We believe that we always need to have an open mind about changes and try to adapt those in the fastest way to grow our business as best we can. Our main focus for our business is to maintain great relationships with our existing and future clients and guarantee the best service for them. And the better way to do this is to always practice new ways of doing business, but at the same time, never losing focus our client’s needs and always being very transparent and honest from start to finish.

Lima-Stanley Design is an interior and landscape design firm offering comprehensive services for residential and commercial clients. We believe in the reframing power of creating beautiful places with stunning designs bringing innovation, professionalism, and quality to every design project and understanding that our clients have different needs, budgets, and perspectives. For each project, we create unique functional and polished modern spaces that are beautiful, friendly and speaks with the client’s own interests.

We believe what sets us apart from others is the new aesthetic that we bring to our design. Dallas is very used to the traditional south design and we appreciate the beauty in this look.
