Ty started RJ Williams & Company based on his father’s old saying ‘Take care of your people, and people will take care of you,” which stands very true and is the cornerstone of the organization. Ty understands that the agent is the face and the true representation of the brand, culture and the idea that bigger is not always better. He believes that you should truly enjoy working with everyone and actually know them. Ty began his career in real estate at the early age of 18 when he purchased his first flip property. His passion and quest for knowledge for investment in real estate went on from there. Ty decided to go into traditional brokerage and went with a big name thinking it would be the best move for his career, which in fact, he found out very quickly it was not. He proceeded to start a small brokerage with a previous co-worker and within just a few years realized that he needed to start a culture-centric, family-based brokerage.
