Hi Occean, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
They say you never know what happens until you start. I always knew that I wanted to run my own business and take the entrepreneur route. BossReflections LLC started off as motivational women’s clothing line that I used to create consistent income for myself but being in that industry just wasn’t making me as happy, So I decided to transition over into content creation which then sparked my creativity to making YouTube intro and thumbnails. These services were in high demand and that’s when I officially started accepting clients. My passion for Graphic Design has grew and I’ve been watering my Business ever since.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When you are an entrepreneur the road doesn’t ever become smooth. As for me one of my biggest struggles have been trying to balance the life of being a full-time single mother while maintaining my passion for graphic design. Yes it is a plus that I do get to work from anywhere and have my daughter right along the side of me, but my mental health starts to mess with me from time to time and I start to get over whelmed because I do want more for not only me but for her. I also have to market myself in the industry just to obtain high ticket clients. That has been a challenge but my growth and securing a consistent stream of income has improved.

I’m a full time Freelance Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager, and Content Creator. I’m known for helping other entrepreneurs in any industry grow their business with timeless designs and marketing materials that will help the succeed within their business. What sets me apart for the rest is a question that I receive a lot, I always show my audience the real behind owning a business, being mother, and most importantly the journey that allows me to relearn myself and unlock a new mentality.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m excited to take BossReflections LLC to the next level by launching a marketing agency that helps entrepreneurs and brands amplify their voice, expand their reach, and connect with their ideal audience. With my background in graphic design, creativity, and passion for storytelling, I want to create impactful branding, social media strategies, and content that not only attracts but also converts. This agency will be a reflection of everything BossReflections stands for—faith, self-love, self-care, and empowerment—helping businesses grow with authenticity and purpose to open.
