Today we’d like to introduce you to Taquikardia.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My husband and I met Ramon Lopez and Ramona Hernandez in Guadalajara, Mexico They are part of the Family of “Los Claros” their specialty is Seafood, Baja California style tacos capeados. This style was created by Mr. Claro Hernandez when he arrived to La Paz, Baja California in 1958. Now, we have united the authentic mexican flavor with our Tex Mex flavors for the people that don’t like seafood. We have a mix that we want to offer to our people here in Texas.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
So far, it has been great. We United with Harley Davidson in their special events in and we live the fact that we can bring our fresh cuisine on-location to anybody that allows us to be.
Please tell us about Taquikardia.
We are mostly known for our Fish and Shrimp tacos capeados, our fajita tacos are very popular and we are very proud to bring fresh food with excellent taste on location. We are proud to bring the family’s legacy since 1958 from La Paz, Baja California.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I am happy how we started because we will hopefully one day duplicate the food truck Taquikardia where we can be in many places to offer our delicious food to everyone.
