We’re looking forward to introducing you to TprettySmile. Check out our conversation below.
TprettySmile, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
I always find myself listening to music while I’m working, driving, getting dressed, pretty much all the time and per usual it turns into me having a vibe out concert. Blasting music and dancing across the living room floor. I am a music head I love all types of music, One minute I may be listening to country and the next gospel and then rnb, you just never know with me. This is one of my techniques I use to calm my nerves and relax before doing a podcast or interview. Even though I lose track of time I do eventually get back on task and mentally prepared for the event at hand however, I will still have music playing in the background.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I will forever call him my little “Big” brother. He is my younger brother, the middle child. Ever since we were kids, he has always been the more responsible one, the one who mom leaves in control, you know, the one that never disappoints the parents. My brother Robert has always seen me before I even knew who Tprettysmile was. He has always been my rock when I need anchoring, my cushion for when I fall, and my joy when on my darkest days there is no corner of sunshine. My brother noticed throughout life I always asked questions and said the things others were afraid to speak on and saw just what my gifts were in life. He has helped managed my business in various ways and even began a game series for the podcast. I am so thankful for the brother I have in my life who has always told me “Never worry about quitting, because I will always be here to push you forward and Never be scared to fall because I will always be your cushion and get you back on your feet.”
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
As many in this world, I am sure we all have wounds and bruises that life has given us. The only difference is we are all shaped and scared differently. The way life has left me with unforgettable bruises and wounds has really taken a toll on my journey throughout life. From losing both my fathers (biological and step father) randomly, losing the pilars of my family( my brother and uncle) to the justice system, diagnosed with cancer and chiari malformation, elderly grandfather, and there are many more bruises, but I am determined to not make the hurt my story. Yes, pain is hurtful and sometimes forever lasting than and sometime leave permanent scares. However, I am healing through them all physically and mentally. I use my pain, experiences, and life journey to fuel my topics and conversations. As I heal so will others in spreading these conversations and freely open space with others that may break more barriers and bring more resources.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Those who are closest to me all know that family holds a dear place in my heart. I come from a family where we host game nights and family gatherings on weekends with good eating too! I love to get together rather its family or with friends and have memorable moments and share good vibes and times. Other things that matter to me are that I’m sure those closest to me would agree would be smiling, all my family being safe, my daughter, and of course my podcast Real Raw Lets Talk!
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope when I’m gone from this world, I pray people remember me for always smiling regardless of all the things I have experienced in life. I hope people tell the story of me being a caring person who always went out her way to do and be there for others. I would hope people would have random stories of their interaction with and how I made them feel comfortable and real enough to be real and raw.
