Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Melton.
Jennifer, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Dallas and available world-wide. After taking my first photography class in college, I found my passion. It’s the only thing that has ever made any sense to me, and I’m so grateful and blessed to be able to call this “my job”.
I love shooting weddings! I strive to capture emotions and details that make each wedding unique. My goal is to capture photographs that will take couples right back to that moment.
When I’m not shooting weddings, I’m usually working on a graphic design project or shooting travel photography. I enjoy traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I’m a wedding photographer based in Dallas and available world-wide.
I have a fine art/photojournalist style. I enjoy meeting new couples, getting to know them and telling their story.
Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
It takes time to build a business and to start making money. Supplement your income with a side hustle. This gives you financial security while pursuing your creative passions.
