Check Out Aubrie P’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aubrie P.

Hi Aubrie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Most people start off young but for me, this was a talent that I didn’t know I had until the age of 19 when my brother introduced it to me. At the time I didn’t know it would bring me this far so I am blessed and grateful for each opportunity I’ve had since that night. I started off in my closet and a desk & chair I bought from Walmart. I ordered padding for the walls and got the cheapest equipment. It’s been a journey finding my voice but I’m very much versatile so there’s some things I still want to tweak. My family is a huge part of my support system they support me through everything and even better they love my music!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting off it was smooth because it bought excitement. When I got more serious with creating music more problems came. Problems like finding beats finding the right producers & engineers, It’s been a Struggle. But once you find a team that fits right for you and you add to them just as much as they add to you it smoothens out! But that’s why I call it a journey it’s constant ups and downs but you have to realize things happen the more you want it the more you’ll chase it. It’s not easy

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I go by the name LA I’m a musical artist. Mostly R&B but I rap sometimes too. I’m a YouTuber (vlogs, challenges, & reactions) I’ve been growing my channel for a couple of years now & I love it! I also have a company named La builds where I do some work part-time (furniture assembly, pack/unpack, organizing, & declutter) that I’ve been doing for around a year now. I am proud of my growth and I think my determination and passion sets me apart from others.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like about Dallas is the amount opportunities that presents us on a daily basis. You could literally find anything to do out here and succeed. What I like least is the traffic! But on a more serious note we do get a lot of hate from our city
