Today we’d like to introduce you to Destiny Brown.
Hi Destiny, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started making body butter and candles in December 2021. I contacted a few friends of mine to see if they would test them out for me and they agreed. I am learning and revamping these two items and I learn more about both of these businesses. I took a class on making the body butter and since then I have really enjoyed being creative with these crafts.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been ups and downs while learning about making candles and body butter. I had to really learn about the different oils and scents when making both. How much is enough, too much, etc.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Currently, I am the Station Manager at the Stockyards Post Office in Fort Worth, TX. I have been working for the USPS for 10 years in December.
I’m proud to work for a company where there is professional growth.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success to me is defined as being proud of your daily accomplishments.
