Today we’d like to introduce you to Janiqua Wicks.
Janiqua, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m originally from Memphis, TN, and moved to Dallas, TX June 2019. I always knew I wanted to do Real Estate. Texas always seemed like the best place for it. Watching my stepmom so fix and flip really pushed me into Real Estate. Nov 17, 2021, will make a year since I’ve been licensed. To date, I’ve had 1.2 million dollars or real estate under contact. I’m a mother of one and recently engaged.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Moving to a city knowing only 2 people was a struggle in the beginning. Knowing I wanted to be a realtor, I had to begin networking where I found so much help and resources.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Realtor with Real Dallas Properties and Management. I specialize in Relocation. All of my clients have been out of state when finding their homes which is something I’ve been able to relate to the most. Understanding how it feels to relocate is what helps me understand my client’s needs.
