Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay Flores.
Hi Jay, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was born in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, my parents brought me to the US when I was 3 years old, I grew up and graduated in El Paso TX, and after I graduated, I took the decision to move out here to Dallas to find a better job to help my family. I found many great jobs and learned so much in so little time, about 2 years ago I decided to go to a car show out in Houston and had the vison of wrapping my car to make it stand out. Little did I know that a fun and simple hobby would change my life around. I received so many compliments about my car and many people asking me to work on their cars also, which got me thinking and brought me here today to write this story. I immediately started practicing on my car and changing the appearance again because I wanted to gain more practice to be able to wrap other people’s cars! but what I didn’t know and never expected was for so many people in Dallas/Fort Worth to show sooo much love to my work! the word got around so fast that when I least expected it, I was doing it all night long after my job. It was never easy, like everything, there’s a learning process and things take time. At first, I rented out a smalls storage unit here in Irving with no electricity and no space, but we always tried our best, we would get so many people that the storage looked like a car show with so many crazy cars passing by at all hours! After a year in the storage unit, I decided to move into a house just to have a garage to be able to do better for my business, and it’s been exactly a year working here from my garage and I have to say we have been so blessed with so many opportunities and so many customers! We even got the opportunity to wrap a car for an NFL player! I would pf never known. WE are working harder every day to offer everything we can and be a one-stop shop for anyone looking to customize their vehicles! And we hope to soon be able to get into a shop and keep growing in this amazing city!

It has not been easy, but thanks to God I have learned from every mistake and made the best out of every situation.

We specialize in Color Changing Wraps for vehicles and anything else that has to do with appearance, from wraps to lights! We are very proud of every second we put into every car! And it’s the best feeling when you’re out in the street and you see a “Chrome Gold Mercedes” and your able to say, “I DID THAT”! Besides our work, we like to take it farther and connect with our customers, from showing them love on social media all the way to going out to car meets and all of us having a great time together!
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
What has worked well for me is Social Media Exposure, because nowadays it is the best way to promote just about anything!
