Hi Tarvia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I started my business in my car! I was homeless at the time and doing waitressing! I actually got my first client in Residential Cleaning from this job! From there I was invited to a Arlington Black Chamber meeting one Thursday night and it CHANGED my life for the better! I received all of my certifications through the chamber in order to put my hat in the ring for Construction Cleaning! With that being said I was introduced to Manthaan Construction and Con Real Construction and ended up on the billion dollar project which we know as Global Life Park!! This was a wonderful experience and as helped my business so much!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been smooth however I have been tremendously blessed! Finding people to work! Learning to bid jobs and completely working your business 365 days a year 24/7! We work to provide a good service but of course, just like any business, you have people that like your work and those that don’t!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I love being a cleaning lady! I use to be in residential cleaning but do to the growth I have been able to leave that and work Commercial and Construction! Now do not get me wrong I’ll cleaning a few houses here and there! I’m known for all my cleaning tips and hacks! I’m super proud that I have been able to mentor up-and-coming cleaning services! No gatekeeping here! I try to provide a good service! I always say a clean home is a happy home! And I am Tarvia Bills your FAVORITE CLEANING LADY AND HAPPY CLEANING!!!
What do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy! So many things! Mostly the love and support from my family and friends! The favor of God over my business you have to understand I literally had nothing just a mop and broom! I did not even have a good car at the time LOL! The relationship I have built! You know sometimes I just sit back and look and think about all that as happen in the last 6 years even with Covid how God as kept Tarvia Bills The Cleaning Lady! And now with social media, I have built a huge platform and have became an Amazon Influencer!
