Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexus Anderson.
Hi Alexus, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Alexus and I am the owner of Lalalgraphics, a graphic design company based in Dallas, TX. Creativity has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my life, I’ve invested a great deal of my time in drawing, writing, and photography. My interest began when I stumbled across an extracurricular design class. This held my interest up until college and it became one of my main hobbies. Moving forward, I mostly created content for school, family, friends, and my sorority sisters. After college, I began my career as a nurse full-time up until the pandemic. During this time, I chose to perfect my craft and practice my artistry. Since then, I have managed to further my knowledge and work on inventory. I had my first customer in December of 2019. Soon after that, I knew that this was something I wanted to pursue. I began working on my business plan and budgeting system. Finally, I launched my business on April 19th of 2020. While bringing my visions to life, I also started a book club in hopes of meeting new people, furthering my knowledge in ownership, and perfecting my craft. Another exciting adventure that I experienced is stepping out on a leap of faith and hosting my first pop-up shop. It was an amazing accomplishment and something I’d love to do every year. We recently just celebrated two years in business this past April and I couldn’t be any more grateful to have made it this far.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Becoming an entrepreneur has not been an easy road, to say the least. It has been a rollercoaster filled with highs and lows. In the beginning, the main challenges were consistency and marketing, along with having the confidence in myself that I can run a business. Of course, there was a great deal of doubt and uncertainty, however, I express deep gratitude for my journey. I am so blessed for how far I’ve come. Without a doubt, there will be hard times, but one thing to remain clear is to always keep going.

Lalalgraphics is a black-owned graphic design and creation company. We provide a variety of services such as branding, wholesale apparel, party favors, gift baskets, and more. We are most known for our Calendar holiday deals and custom apparel. We set to deliver quality and affordable service. We strive to provide good customer service and to continually improve in every aspect of the company. This is no limit to what we can do at Lalalgraphics.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I have taken on some new business ventures in hopes of continuing to grow and succeed. There will be 2nd annual pop-up shop soon. Also, we will be hosting a design class as well as releasing a merch line this fall.
