Hi Marixa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started my journey by doing my own personal credit repair, after seeing the amazing results I was getting and how it transformed the way I lived, I decided to open up my own business and help others do the same. There isn’t a lot of info about financial literacy and I pride myself in being that bridge to better credit, a home, affordable car payments, and the endless opportunities a good credit gives. I started by myself and within 3 months I had my first hire and on our way to what we are today.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It definitely has not been easy/smooth road. Being in such a competitive field, you must stand out and in the best way possible. I believe that having my client’s best interest at heart as I did since day one is what makes my business thrive. It’s challenging because I am only one person, creating and managing a team that has the same values and vision as me so that my clients is top priority. I can say I have learned so much along the way and continue to learn.
As you know, we’re big fans of 850Mindset-Team. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I started as a single mom in a small town with a big vision and knew I had to move to Dallas and go all in. So, when I look at my brand and client reviews, I know that I am doing something right. I would want to advise any readers that have a dream, just go for it! There is a lot of reasons why it won’t work but find that one reason why it will and hold on to it! As a bilingual agent, I have a 13-year sales background and 8 years in insurance helping customers. Being now in credit repair, my background has given me an advantage in understanding the disputes I have to now challenge on my customers’ behalf. So, for those that are interested, we offer affordable payment plans and also teach you along the way so that you can continue to apply what was learned in the process.
