Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffani Dickerson.
Hi Tiffani, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am Tiffani Dickerson, owner of The Breast Choice Lactation Services LLC. I have been a registered nurse since 2008 and have a background in NICU. In 2018, I dealt with a premature birth and transitioned from a NICU nurse to a NICU mom. Becoming a NICU mom ignited my passion for supporting other NICU mothers. The support I received from the lactation consultants in the NICU supported our 15-month breastfeeding journey. This experience empowered me, so I decided to obtain my IBCLC to help other parents with breastfeeding. In 2019, I obtained my IBCLC certification. In 2021, I welcomed another daughter, whom I breastfed for 20 months. Prenatal breastfeeding education is my passion. I believe breastfeeding is most successful with ongoing support. My goal is to make breastfeeding support affordable and obtainable. I look forward to supporting my clients on their breastfeeding journey.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I transitioned into the lactation field smoothly, however, prior to launching my own private practice, I was primarily working in a hospital setting. I am thankful I received support from other private practice mentors along the way. The DFW area is growing rapidly and will benefit from additional lactation consultants to help nursing parents meet their feeding goals.

The Breast Choice Lactation Services offer in-home and virtual breastfeeding support. We offer prenatal through weaning support. We work alongside the nursing parent to offer individualized care and infant feeding support. Breastfeeding is most successful with ongoing support. Additionally, we can support families with bottle refusal as well. The Breast Choice Lactation serves Southern Dallas, Ellis, and Tarrant Counties.

- Follow up Self-pay Rate $125
- Virtual Consults $100
- I am also credentials with BCBS of TX and United Health Care
- I am partnered with the Lactation Network, which submits insurance request for Cigna, Anthem PPO/BCBS PPO, Humana, and PNOA/Multiplan logo plans.
