Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Weaver.
Hi Susan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Stephen, my husband, and I bought F45 Training Prosper in 2020 from previous owners. We are both exercise and fitness enthusiasts and were excited about owning our own business. F45 is an awesome total body workout and great franchise to be a part of! We have been fortunate to grow our business to include 8 unbelievable trainers and well over 200 members.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
When we bought the business, the membership numbers were down, then covid happened. We had a rough first year, but we made it through and have grown our membership SO much!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I taught school for 18 years, and Stephen was in the steel industry for 25 years. We were ready for a change and wanted to own our own business. After exploring franchise opportunities, F45 aligned with what we wanted to offer to the awesome community of Prosper. We are both outgoing and love meeting new people. Our gym is more than a gym…it is truly a family. We know everyone’s names (and so do our trainers), and we get together for socials as much as possible!
What does success mean to you?
Success isn’t just monetary, but it is lying down on the pillow each night knowing you have done everything in your power to make your business the best place for people to be motivated, encouraged, and to improve their overall health! Success for us is also knowing our employees and members are happy.
