Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Butler.
Hi Jasmine, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I fell in love with bridal hairstyling at a very early age. The pin curls and designs all made with hair would always catch my eye. I have over 15 years of bridal hair designing. I have experience with all hair types and textures, including extensions and wigs.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest obstacle for me was realizing my strength in hairstyling was updos. As a hairstylist, you want to be good at everything. Cuts, colors, braids, extensions, and hairstyling. I was good at those things but I was great at only one, updos!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?What sets me apart is my ability to style all types of hair. From natural coils to straight textures, I can style them all with ease. I also offer over the top big bridal hair!
What does success mean to you?
Success is when you have set a goal, work hard to achieve your goal, then reap the benefits and recognition of achieving your goal.
