Today we’d like to introduce you to Lord Strapz.
Hi Lord, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I was born on a military base in Fort Hood, TX. So, I ended up migrating all over the south including back and forth to Cali in the West Coast Every Summer dealing with separated parents at a very young age. I spent most of my time maturing in Atlanta where I learned a lot of my cultural skills that I use in everyday life today. I grew playing basketball, football, soccer, baseball, and even trained with the cross-country kids. I moved back to Texas in hopes of pursuing and furthering my career in basketball in a better environment as my previous situation was not the most ideal for a prospering young adult. I played at Eastfield College and also played a lil semipro ball with the Texas Wranglers. I am so proud of how far I have gotten in life as I feel like it is a blessing to be alive n breathing which means I am making smart decisions with my life. I started Strapz Only (DBA) under the business name Ineasonentertainment. This brand is very special for me. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I feel like the best paths in life are never smooth because if you’re trying to do things that the rest of the world aren’t it will Never be smooth there will always be ups n downs in the process of progressing through this thing we call life. I grew up in tough areas where over-smiling was considered weak or made u look soft. It messed me up so bad, just the many things I dealt with in that environment that I have weaker social skills because of it that I have slowly been improving over time. My goal is to help promote peace and prosperity to our young adults who will need it the most.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a lot of special skills which gives me the ability to do a lot of things for work. Such as creating creative music, acting, gaming/streaming (Twitch: lordstrapz). I have even been mixing and mastering music providing people with studio time as well as profiting off of videos of my 4-month-old cat (TikTok: Indikahaze). She has over 70k followers and 7 million likes it’s insane!!! I have a movie that as of today I will be starring in “FUD” that should be coming to theaters sooner than you think so keep an eye out for it some special people might be in there. What I’m proud of and what sets me apart from the rest, I feel like, is my resilience and ability to maintain more patience than most competitors. I have very systematic approaches to everything I do, and I think that’s what help me move my piece up the board further and faster. I am most PROUD of my MUSIC. I have almost 100 songs completed on Soundcloud. I have just spent my time getting better as I have only been rapping for about 2 years. I am lucky to be gaining supporters every day, and you support me as well @lordstrapz on SoundCloud and YouTube Strapz Only Show.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Discipline and the opportunity to take more risks than others. I have put myself in a situation I like where I am able to provide for my family and friends as well as take care of myself while still taking business risks in order to further the success of everything we have going on. I have the ability to lead by example, and I am also learning to lead verbally as I wish I was more of a verbal leader when I was playing ball in Highchool and College.
