Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all began from a young age. I started selling purses, baked goods, candy, and babysitting. I always had an eye for making my own way, the entrepreneurial spirit. While attending UNT I started struggling with depression and anxiety. I had low self-esteem and little confidence with a fear of failure. I lost myself under society’s standards and negative perceptions. In 2017, I decided to leave college, I realized I can only be myself, not anyone else, or the world’s image. I then embraced a journey of healing and self-discovery. I started to give more self-love and repeated positive affirmations daily. I had to awaken and create my own life, forgive, and move forward. Neither depression nor anxiety can run your life when you decide to take control of what you can. I had to own my power and my authenticity. I began to create a safe space of body acceptance, connection, natural beauty, and pretty much everything I was missing. I started with research, experimenting with natural oils, and body butters that are safe for sensitive-skinned individuals like myself. In order to find quality casual clothing and natural products, I had to create my own. Through my discovery, I decided to provide the same healing for others. I now offer a variety of non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan products. I recognize that underneath our skin we are all pink.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I launched PINK PHATTY a few months ago and it has been a beautiful rollercoaster of highs and lows. My major challenges stem from gaining a social media following, solid customers, and consistent sales. Nevertheless, I continue to put my best foot forward as I believe my brand will prevail over time. The future is very bright, and I am excited to release new designs and products.

PINK PHATTY is the name of my brand, and it derives from the same pink matter under our skin. Our mission is to shine a light on our unique bodies and connect. We offer casual unisex clothing for women, men, and children. In addition, I create custom hoodies, t-shirts, and more. We specialize in providing natural vegan products that are cruelty free, with no added preservatives or chemicals. We promote self-love, and wellness, featuring affirmations for the mind, and radiant intentional colors to feed your soul. This is a space for all sizes to be accepted, establishing love, and connection. I am truly fulfilled when my patron is well pleased.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My spirituality plays a huge role in my progress. I remain confident in my abilities, and have strong determination. I am highly optimistic and intentional. It is important to be transparent and sincere. Knowledge is key, and I educate myself on all things pertaining to my passion. I have a clear vision for my brand and I know we will reach our goals.
