Today we’d like to introduce you to Aliyah Johnson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I first started running track for the YMCA when I was five years old. Then from there, my parents put me in select track and field. My favorite events are long jump, Triple Jump, 100m dash, and 200m dash. I went to many meets and events compete as I got older. I have many achievements such as:

I really enjoyed competing in many different places and meeting inspirational athletes along the way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The toughest meet for me was the AAU Junior Olympics because there were prelims, semi-finals, and finals. There were a lot more athletes there so I knew I had to do my best each race in order to make it to the finals.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I created this business because I love beauty products and I’ve always wanted to become an entrepreneur. My business products are lip gloss and eyelashes.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
The pandemic was a complete surprise. As far as training goes, I never stopped working. Even though the season was basically canceled, I still had high school track to start preparing for.
